I threw myself into e-commerce for a few years. I co-founded PeakUniques with business partner Margie Shaw. We had a large network of artisans making incredible products such as jewelry, pieces of art, handmade accessories and baby gear. It was "pre-etsy.com" and it was a lot of fun. We personally funded the company to get it off the ground. It became apparent that we would require investment money to take the company where we wanted it to go. At that time in our lives, we weren't really ready to make the leap. So it was shelved.
But, it could be resurrected at any point in time. Who knows!
